I’m Phone Myint Htwe (Leon) — a Myanmar-born digital marketing and branding specialist based in Bangkok. Passionate about connecting strategy with creativity, I help brands tell stories that inspire, engage, and grow.

Blending marketing strategy, brand management, and social media marketing, I work at the intersection of data, design, and storytelling to create impact-driven campaigns for both global brands and emerging startups.

From Yangon to Bangkok: The Career Journey of Leon

My journey has been about turning passion into purpose — from civic engagement in Myanmar to leading digital marketing and brand campaigns in Thailand.

Early Career (2019–2021):
I began my professional path with youth leadership and community development, working with organizations like the U.S. Embassy’s English Language Program and American Center Yangon. These experiences taught me the power of communication, empathy, and collaboration.

Regional Growth (2021–2022):
After relocating to Thailand, I took on marketing roles that sharpened my ability to connect cultures and audiences — from AIESEC Thailand to Assumption University’s Myanmar Student Community.

Creative Leadership (2023):
As Director of Graphic Design and Media at AUSO, I led branding, social media marketing, and event promotion for 15+ university events, growing AUSO’s community to over 9,500 followers. Later, at The Thaiger, I contributed SEO-optimized lifestyle and travel articles that expanded the outlet’s digital reach.

Professional Marketing Roles (2024–Present):
My professional marketing career has been defined by collaboration and measurable impact:

  • Niramit Creations: Led digital marketing and social media campaigns for international events like the FIFA Congress 2024 and Agoda’s Swag Store Launch.

  • Ascend Group (TrueMoney): Managed referral marketing, customer engagement, and app adoption strategies to drive user retention.

  • Spokes Jewelry Services: Currently leading digital marketing strategy, branding, and content creation across three sub-brands, boosting online visibility through SEO and creative storytelling.
